The Platte/Geddes Black Panthers (Platte, SD) football defeated the visiting Viborg/Hurley Cougars (Viborg, SD), 35-18 in Friday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Black Panthers face the Bon Homme Cavaliers (Tyndall, SD) in a 9-Man Freelance (9 Man) bout, on Friday, September 23. Platte/Geddes will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Cavaliers enter the bout with a 3-1 record after their 43-7 non-league win over Stanley County (Fort Pierre, SD).
The Cougars (3-2) will now prepare for their bout against Chester (Chester, SD). The Flyers enter the Tri-Valley (9 Man) bout with a 3-2 record. In their last bout, Chester lost by Alcester-Hudson (Alcester, SD), 38-27, in a non-league bout.
