West Virginia High School Football - Scott tips Point Pleasant

September 16, 2022: Point Pleasant, WV 25550

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Scott Skyhawks (Madison, WV) and the host Point Pleasant Big Blacks (Point Pleasant, WV), observed Scott's football squad edge Point Pleasant by a count of 21-14.

The Skyhawks now own a 4-0 record. They play next when they host Chapmanville Regional for a Cardinal contest on Friday, September 23. Scott will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 47-0 league win over Nitro (Nitro, WV). The Tigers record now stands at 3-1.

Coming up next, the Big Blacks encounter the Warren Warriors (Vincent, OH) in a non-league contest, on Friday, September 23. Point Pleasant will attempt to upgrade on its 2-2 season record. The Warriors go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 61-28 non-league loss to Fort Frye (Beverly, OH).
