Colorado High School Football - St. Mary's knocks off Soroco

The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the St. Mary's Pirates (Colorado Springs, CO) and the host Soroco Rams (Oak Creek, CO), observed St. Mary's's football squad thwart Soroco by a tally of 44-22.

The Pirates now possess a 1-2 record. They play next when they travel to Holly for a non-league contest on Friday, September 23. St. Mary's will encounter a Wildcats team coming off a 27-14 non-league win over Akron (Akron, CO). The Wildcats record now stands at 2-1.

With the loss, Soroco moves to 2-2 on the season. The Rams travel to West Grand (Kremmling, CO) to encounter the Mustangs in a A-8 League 2 (8 Man) outing on Friday, September 30. The Mustangs go into the outing with a record of 4-0. West Grand won 46-0 in their recent non-league outing against Elbert (Elbert, CO)
