South Dakota High School Football - West Central trounces Vermillion

September 16, 2022: Hartford, SD 57033

In Friday's league match, the host West Central Trojans football squad scored a big 33-0 victory over the Vermillion Tanagers.

In their next game, the Trojans clash with the Canton C-Hawks (Canton, SD) in a Dakota 12 match, on Friday, September 23. West Central will attempt to move on its 4-0 season record. The C-Hawks enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 28-22 league loss to Dell Rapids (Dell Rapids, SD).

The Tanagers (1-3) will now prepare for their match against Custer (Custer, SD). The Wildcats enter the Black Hills - Crazy Horse match with a 0-4 record. In their last match, Custer was crushed by Lennox (Lennox, SD), 51-0, in a league match.
