In Friday's league battle, the visiting Arlington Spy Ponders soccer squad scored a close 2-1 triumph over the Lexington Minutemen.
The Spy Ponders (5-1) will now prepare for their battle against Winchester (Winchester, MA). The Sachems come into the Middlesex battle with a 2-1 record. In their last battle, Winchester nudged Stoneham (Stoneham, MA), 2-1, in a league battle.
The Minutemen (2-5) will now prepare for their battle against Westport (Westport, MA). The Wildcats come into the non-league battle with a 1-1 record.
