In Friday's non-league battle, the host Schroon Lake Wildcats soccer squad scored a close 4-2 win over the AuSable Valley Patriots.
The Wildcats (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Johnsburg Central (North Creek, NY). The Jaguars go into the MVAC battle with a 1-2 record. In their last battle, Johnsburg Central by Keene Central (Keene Valley, NY), 2-1, in a non-league battle.
The Patriots (1-5) will now prepare for their battle against Crown Point (Crown Point, NY). The Panthers go into the non-league battle with a 2-1 record.
