The Pueblo West Cyclones softball team scored 15 runs and limited the visiting Lewis-Palmer Rangers to 10 in the Cyclones non-league triumph on Friday.

With the triumph, Pueblo West improves its record to 10-5 on the year. The Cyclones travel to Coronado (Colorado Springs, CO) to clash with the Cougars in a non-league game on Monday, September 19. The Cougars come into the game with a record of 3-14. Coronado lost 13-3 in their recent league game against Widefield (Colorado Springs, CO)

In their next game, the Rangers clash with the Discovery Canyon Thunder (Colorado Springs, CO) in a 4A Pikes Peak game, on Monday, September 19. Lewis-Palmer will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Thunder come into the game with a 4-9 record after their 11-1 league win over Cheyenne Mountain (Colorado Springs, CO).
