With the triumph, Lincoln East improves its record to 17-4 on the year. The Spartans host Norfolk (Norfolk, NE) to clash with the Panthers in a A District game on Tuesday, September 20. The Panthers come into the game with a record of 16-7. Norfolk won 9-1 in their recent league game against Lincoln High (Lincoln, NE)

In their next game, the Eagles clash with the Grand Island Islanders (Grand Island, NE) in a non-league game, on Friday, September 16. Omaha Central will attempt to improve on its 7-14 season record. The Islanders come into the game with a 3-15 record after their 11-1 league loss to North Star (Lincoln, NE).
