The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Beverly Hills Normans (Beverly Hills, CA) and the host Fairfax Lions (Los Angeles, CA), saw Beverly Hills's volleyball squad beat Fairfax by a tally of 3-1.

With the win, Beverly Hills upgrades its record to 9-10 on the year. The Normans host Leuzinger (Lawndale, CA) to play the Olympians in a Ocean bout on Wednesday, September 21. The Olympians go into the bout with a record of 7-5. Leuzinger won 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Granite Hills (Apple Valley, CA)

The Lions now own a 2-5 record. They play next when they travel to Venice for a Western bout on Tuesday, September 20. Fairfax will play a Gondoliers squad coming off a 3-1 league win over University (Los Angeles, CA). The Gondoliers record now stands at 24-5.
