Illinois High School Volleyball - Eureka tips Maroa-Forsyth

The crowd at Friday's non-league bout between the Eureka Hornets (Eureka, IL) and the host Maroa-Forsyth Trojans (Maroa, IL), saw Eureka's volleyball squad nip Maroa-Forsyth by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Eureka upgrades its record to 11-2 on the year. The Hornets travel to Mt. Pulaski (Mt. Pulaski, IL) to play the Hilltoppers in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 17. The Hilltoppers go into the bout with a record of 8-3. Mt. Pulaski won 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Decatur Lutheran (Decatur, IL)

The Trojans now own a 9-3 record. They play next when they travel to Mendon Unity for a non-league bout on Friday, September 16. Maroa-Forsyth will play a Mustangs squad coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Calhoun (Hardin, IL). The Mustangs record now stands at 11-1.
