In Friday's non-league battle, the visiting Meridian Trojans volleyball team scored a 3-0 triumph over the Granite Falls Tigers.
The Trojans (4-0) will now prepare for their battle against Lynden Christian (Lynden, WA). The Lyncs come into the 1A/2A/3A Northwest battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Lynden Christian lost by Lynden (Lynden, WA), 3-0, in a league battle.
Next, the Tigers clash with the Northwest House (Seattle, WA) in a 1A Emerald Sound battle, on Monday, September 19. Granite Falls will attempt to advance on its 0-3 season record. The House come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 3-2 league loss to Sultan (Sultan, WA).
