The Mumford Mustangs volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Kennard Tigers to 0 in the Mustangs non-league victory on Friday.
The Mustangs now possess a 17-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Mart for a non-league game on Tuesday, September 20. Mumford will meet a Panthers team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Centerville (Centerville, TX). The Panthers record now stands at 1-8.
The Tigers (1-14) will now prepare for their game against Cross Roads (Malakoff, TX). The Bobcats enter the non-league game with a 19-11 record. In their last game, Cross Roads was dropped by Latexo (Latexo, TX), 3-1, in a non-league game.
