The Sanford Spartans volleyball team scored 3 points and limited the visiting Westbrook Blue Blazes to 1 in the Spartans non-league victory on Friday.

The Spartans now have a 4-0 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to South Portland for a Class A game on Monday, September 19. Sanford will confront a Red Riots team coming off a 3-0 non-league loss to Yarmouth (Yarmouth, ME). The Red Riots record now stands at 2-4.

The Blue Blazes (2-4) will now prepare for their game against Cheverus (Portland, ME). The Stags enter the non-league game with a 2-3 record. In their last game, Cheverus gained a win over Windham (Windham, ME), 3-0, in a league game.
