In Saturday's league match, the host Bishop Canevin Crusaders football squad scored a big 35-0 victory over the Burgettstown Blue Devils.

In their next game, the Crusaders clash with the Avella Eagles (Avella, PA) in a WPIAL A Black Hills match, on Friday, September 22. Bishop Canevin will attempt to move on its 3-0 season record. The Eagles enter the match with a 2-2 record after their 41-0 league loss to Cornell (Coraopolis, PA).
