Texas High School Football - Fort Bend Austin drops to George Ranch

September 16, 2023: Sugar Land, TX 77478

In Saturday's league game, the George Ranch Longhorns (Richmond, TX) football team knocked off the host Fort Bend Austin Bulldogs (Sugar Land, TX), by a final score of 21-3.

The Longhorns (4-0) will now prepare for their game against Strake Jesuit (Houston, TX). The Fighting Crusaders come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Strake Jesuit was dropped by Spring (Spring, TX), 48-35, in a non-league game.

The Bulldogs now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Fort Bend Elkins for a 6A Region III District 20 game on Friday, September 22. Fort Bend Austin will battle a Knights team coming off a 41-9 league loss to Fort Bend Clements (Sugar Land, TX). The Knights record now stands at 1-2.
