The Gouverneur Wildcats football squad scored 55 points and limited the visiting Franklin Academy Huskies to 14 in the Wildcats league win on Saturday.
The Wildcats now possess a 2-0 record. They play next when they host Ogdensburg Free Academy for a Section 10 battle on Saturday, September 23. Gouverneur will play a Blue Devils squad coming off a 24-18 league win over St. Lawrence Central (Brasher Falls, NY). The Blue Devils record now stands at 1-1.
