The Franklin Tornadoes (Franklin, NH) football routed the visiting Newfound Regional Bears (Bristol, NH), 37-0 in Saturday's league bout.
In their next game, the Tornadoes face the Somersworth Toppers (Somersworth, NH) in a Division IV bout, on Friday, September 22. Franklin will attempt to move on its 1-1 season record. The Toppers enter the bout with a 1-0 record after their 50-0 league win over Mascoma (Canaan, NH).
The Bears (0-1) will now prepare for their bout against Newport (Newport, NH). The Tigers enter the Division IV bout with a 2-0 record. In their last bout, Newport walloped Winnisquam (Tilton, NH), 54-0, in a league bout.
