The crowd at Saturday's non-league contest between the GMG Wolverines (Garwin, IA) and the host Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA), observed GMG's football squad defeat Waterloo Christian by a count of 72-47.
The Wolverines now own a 1-3 record. They put it on the line next when they host Tripoli for a 8-Man District 4 (8 Man) match on Friday, September 22. GMG will clash with a Panthers squad coming off a 68-14 league loss to Clarksville (Clarksville, IA). The Panthers record now stands at 1-3.
The Regents (0-4) will now prepare for their match against Central (Elkader, IA). The Warriors enter the 8-Man District 3 (8 Man) match with a 0-4 record.
