Texas High School Football - Hays knocks off MacArthur

September 16, 2023: San Antonio, TX 78217

The Hays Hawks football squad scored 28 points and limited the host MacArthur Brahmas to 14 in the Hawks league win on Saturday.

The Hawks now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they host Boerne-Champion for a 5A-1 Region III District 12 battle on Friday, September 22. Hays will play a Chargers squad coming off a 34-31 league win over Canyon (New Braunfels, TX). The Chargers record now stands at 4-0.

Coming up next, the Brahmas play the Seguin Matadors (Seguin, TX) in a 5A-1 Region III District 12 outing, on Friday, September 22. MacArthur will attempt to upgrade on its 1-3 season record. The Matadors go into the outing with a 1-3 record after their 55-30 league win over Lehman (Kyle, TX).
