In Saturday's non-league game, the Our Lady of Good Counsel Falcons (Olney, MD) football team knocked off the host Mount St. Joseph Gaels (Baltimore, MD), by a final score of 38-8.
The Falcons (2-1) will now prepare for their game against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs come into the non-league game with a 0-3 record. In their last game, Stone Bridge was dropped by Quince Orchard (Gaithersburg, MD), 29-22, in a non-league game.
The Gaels now hold a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they travel to Loyola Blakefield for a MIAA A game on Friday, September 22. Mount St. Joseph will battle a Dons team coming off a 35-29 non-league win over Gonzaga (Washington, DC). The Dons record now stands at 1-1.
