The West Genesee Wildcats football team (Camillus, NY), was beaten 19-7 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Vestal Golden Bears (Vestal, NY)
The Golden Bears (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Union-Endicott (Endicott, NY). The Tigers come into the Section 4 A challenge with a 0-2 record. In their last challenge, Union-Endicott was beaten by Cicero-North Syracuse (Cicero, NY), 42-27, in a non-league challenge.
The Wildcats now sport a 1-2 record. They take the field next when they host Whitesboro for a Section 3 A challenge on Friday, September 22. West Genesee will meet a Warriors team coming off a 41-12 non-league win over Proctor (Utica, NY). The Warriors record now stands at 2-1.
