The Cherokee Trail Cougars (Aurora, CO) football defeated the visiting Fort Collins Lambkins (Fort Collins, CO), 27-14 in Saturday's non-league bout.
In their next game, the Cougars face the Castle View Sabercats (Castle Rock, CO) in a non-league bout, on Friday, September 22. Cherokee Trail will attempt to advance on its 3-1 season record. The Sabercats enter the bout with a 1-3 record after their 38-19 non-league loss to Douglas County (Castle Rock, CO).
The Lambkins (0-3) will now prepare for their bout against Columbine (Littleton, CO). The Rebels enter the non-league bout with a 4-0 record. In their last bout, Columbine defeated Arapahoe (Centennial, CO), 40-20, in a non-league bout.
