Vermont High School Soccer - Missisquoi Valley nudges Oxbow

Missisquoi Valley Thunderbirds (Swanton, VT) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team hold off the host Oxbow Olympians (Bradford, VT), 3-2 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Thunderbirds face the Bellows Free Academy Bullets (Fairfax, VT) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Missisquoi Valley will attempt to better on its 1-2 season record. The Bullets enter the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 5-0 league win over Richford (Richford, VT).

The Olympians now have a 2-2 record. They take the field next when they host Danville for a Mountain challenge on Friday, September 22.
