The Owego Free Academy River Hawks football team (Owego, NY), was beaten 16-0 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the visiting Maine-Endwell Spartans (Endwell, NY)

The Spartans (2-0) will now prepare for their challenge against Corning-Painted Post West (Painted Post, NY). The Vikings come into the non-league challenge with a 1-1 record. In their last challenge, Corning-Painted Post West was beaten by Christian Brothers Academy (Syracuse, NY), 49-20, in a non-league challenge.

The River Hawks now sport a 0-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Chenango Forks for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 25.
