Columbine Rebels (Littleton, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad achieve victory over the visiting Legacy Lightning (Broomfield, CO), 8-0 in a non-league challenge.

The Rebels now own a 6-1 record. They take the field next when they host Chatfield for a challenge on Tuesday, September 19.

With the loss, Legacy falls to 1-3 on the campaign. The Lightning travel to Rocky Mountain (Fort Collins, CO) to face the Lobos in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. The Lobos enter the challenge with a record of 0-3. Rocky Mountain lost 18-8 in their recent league challenge against Prairie View (Henderson, CO)
