In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Metcalfe County Hornets volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the Logan County Cougars.

The Hornets (7-9) will now prepare for their battle against Allen County-Scottsville (Scottsville, KY). The Patriots come into the non-league battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Allen County-Scottsville lost by Franklin-Simpson (Franklin, KY), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
