Hobbs Eagles (Hobbs, NM) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Albuquerque Academy Chargers (Albuquerque, NM), 3-1 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Eagles confront the Mayfield Trojans (Las Cruces, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, September 19. Hobbs will attempt to better on its 8-0 season record. The Trojans enter the challenge with a 6-2 record after their 5-0 non-league win over Deming (Deming, NM).

The Chargers now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they host St. Pius X for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Albuquerque Academy will confront a Sartans team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Del Norte (Albuquerque, NM). The Sartans record now stands at 5-2.
