In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Barren County Trojans soccer squad scored a close 1-0 triumph over the Edmonson County Wildcats.
With the victory, Barren County moves its record to 8-9 on the year. The Trojans travel to Glasgow (Glasgow, KY) to battle the Scotties in a District 15 bout on Tuesday, September 19. The Scotties enter the bout with a record of 10-4. Glasgow lost 2-0 in their recent non-league bout against Larue County (Hodgenville, KY)
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Meade County Green Waves (Brandenburg, KY) in a District 11 bout, on Tuesday, September 19. Edmonson County will attempt to move on its 0-10 season record. The Green Waves enter the bout with a 10-3 record after their 7-0 league win over Grayson County (Leitchfield, KY).
