The Cougars enter the challenge with a 9-0 record after their 4-0 non-league win over Gilmour Academy (Gates Mills, OH).

The Pioneers now have a 2-7 record. They take the field next when they host Valley Forge for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. Elyria will confront a Patriots team coming off a 7-1 non-league loss to North Ridgeville (North Ridgeville, OH). The Patriots record now stands at 2-3.
