The Franklin Knights soccer team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Mercer Mustangs to 0 in the Knights non-league victory on Saturday.
Next, the Knights face the Titusville Rockets (Titusville, PA) in a District 10 Region 4 battle, on Tuesday, September 19. Franklin will attempt to improve on its 5-1 season record. The Rockets come into the battle with a 0-2 record after their 4-0 league loss to Seneca (Erie, PA).
The Mustangs (1-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wilmington (New Wilmington, PA). The Greyhounds come into the District 10 Region 1 battle with a 2-2 record. In their last battle, Wilmington nudged West Middlesex (West Middlesex, PA), 6-2, in a league battle.
