The Girard Yellowjackets smashed the host Iroquois Braves soccer squad by a margin of 9-0 in Saturday's non-league match.
The Yellowjackets now sport a 3-4 record. They play next when they travel to Fairview for a District 10 Region 3 match on Tuesday, September 19. Girard will encounter a Tigers squad coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Seneca (Erie, PA). The Tigers record now stands at 4-1.
With the loss, Iroquois drops to 1-4 on the season. The Braves travel to Saegertown (Saegertown, PA) to encounter the Panthers in a non-league contest on Tuesday, September 19.
