Miyamura Patriots (Gallup, NM) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team triumph over the host Hot Springs Tigers (Truth or Consequences, NM), 10-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Patriots confront the Oak Grove Classical Academy Owls (Albuquerque, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Friday, September 22. Miyamura will attempt to move on its 8-2 season record. The Owls enter the challenge with a 5-3 record after their 2-2 non-league St. Michael's (Santa Fe, NM).
The Tigers now possess a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they host Socorro for a A/3A District 3/4 challenge on Tuesday, September 26.
