Weir Red Riders (Weirton, WV) supporters were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team prevail over the visiting Indian Creek Redskins (Wintersville, OH), 6-2 in a league challenge.

Next, the Red Riders confront the Beaver Beavers (Lisbon, OH) in a Ohio Valley (OVAC) challenge, on Thursday, September 21. Weir will attempt to move on its 4-8 season record.

The Redskins now possess a 0-5 record. They take the field next when they host East Liverpool for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. Indian Creek will confront a Potters team coming off a 6-0 non-league win over Oak Glen (New Cumberland, WV). The Potters record now stands at 3-6.
