The crowd at Saturday's non-league test between the Lowell Red Raiders (Lowell, MA) and the visiting Somerville Highlanders (Somerville, MA), saw Lowell's soccer squad get by Somerville by a margin of 3-2.
The Red Raiders now sport a 6-1 record. They play next when they host Methuen for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. Lowell will meet a Rangers squad coming off a 4-1 league loss to Tewksbury Memorial (Tewksbury, MA). The Rangers record now stands at 1-1.
With the loss, Somerville drops to 3-2 on the season. The Highlanders host Lynn Classical (Lynn, MA) to meet the Rams in a Northeast test on Monday, September 18. The Rams come into the test with a record of 1-4.
