Monmouth-Roseville Titans (Monmouth, IL) fans were thrilled Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Pleasant Plains Cardinals (Pleasant Plains, IL), 2-0 in a non-league challenge.

Next, the Titans face the Kewanee Boilermakers (Kewanee, IL) in a Three Rivers challenge, on Monday, September 18. Monmouth-Roseville will attempt to better on its 9-1 season record. The Boilermakers enter the challenge with a 6-5 record after their 8-0 league win over Riverdale (Port Byron, IL).

The Cardinals now have a 5-3 record. They take the field next when they travel to Warrensburg-Latham/Maroa-Forsyth for a non-league challenge on Tuesday, September 19.
