Wood River Wolverines (Hailey, ID) fans were pleased Saturday as they observed their soccer team knock off the host Sun Valley Community Cutthroats (Sun Valley, ID), 3-0 in a non-league challenge.
Next, the Wolverines confront the Burley Bobcats (Burley, ID) in a 4A District IV challenge, on Monday, September 18. Wood River will attempt to better on its 8-1 season record. The Bobcats enter the challenge with a 3-6 record after their 1-0 non-league loss to Century (Pocatello, ID).
The Cutthroats now have a 8-1 record. They take the field next when they travel to Wendell for a 3A District IV challenge on Thursday, September 21.
