Community Trojans (Laddonia, MO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting North Callaway Thunderbirds (Kingdom City, MO), 9-7 in a non-league challenge.

The Trojans now own a 12-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to New Franklin for a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. Community will battle a Bulldogs squad coming off a 10-3 league loss to Fayette (Fayette, MO). The Bulldogs record now stands at 3-7.

With the loss, North Callaway falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Thunderbirds travel to Hallsville (Hallsville, MO) to battle the Indians in a non-league challenge on Monday, September 18. The Indians enter the challenge with a record of 10-1. Hallsville won 1-0 in their recent non-league challenge against South Harrison (Bethany, MO)
