Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs (Pueblo, CO) backers exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they saw their softball squad nip the visiting Rampart Rams (Colorado Springs, CO), 17-14 in a non-league challenge.

The Bulldogs now own a 7-6 record. They take the field next when they travel to Pueblo County for a 4A South Central challenge on Tuesday, September 19. Pueblo Centennial will face a Hornets squad coming off a 9-8 non-league win over Greeley West (Greeley, CO). The Hornets record now stands at 13-3.

With the loss, Rampart falls to 3-14 on the campaign. The Rams travel to Fountain-Fort Carson (Fountain, CO) to face the Trojans in a 5A/4A CSML challenge on Tuesday, September 19. The Trojans enter the challenge with a record of 3-13.
