Colorado High School Softball - Pueblo County bounces Weld Central

September 16, 2023: Pueblo, CO 81006

Spectators at Saturday's non-league match between the Pueblo County Hornets (Pueblo, CO) and the visiting Weld Central Rebels (Keenesburg, CO), witnessed Pueblo County's softball squad prevail over Weld Central by a count of 18-4.

The Hornets now sport a 13-3 record. They play next when they travel to Greeley West for a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. Pueblo County will meet a Spartans squad coming off a 12-0 non-league win over Wellington (Wellington, CO). The Spartans record now stands at 11-1.

With the loss, Weld Central moves to 8-7 on the season. The Rebels travel to Northridge (Greeley, CO) to meet the Grizzlies in a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. The Grizzlies go into the match with a record of 7-6. Northridge won 12-2 in their recent non-league match against Eagle Valley (Gypsum, CO)
