The crowd at Saturday's non-league bout between the Waterloo Christian Regents (Waterloo, IA) and the host AGWSR Cougars (Ackley, IA), saw Waterloo Christian's volleyball squad nip AGWSR by a tally of 2-1.

With the win, Waterloo Christian upgrades its record to 9-4 on the year. The Regents travel to Gladbrook-Reinbeck (Reinbeck, IA) to play the Rebels in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Rebels go into the bout with a record of 7-8. Gladbrook-Reinbeck lost 3-0 in their recent league bout against South Hardin (Eldora, IA)

The Cougars now own a 8-10 record. They play next when they host Aplington-Parkersburg for a non-league bout on Sunday, September 17.
