In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Kingsley-Pierson Panthers volleyball team scored a tight 2-1 triumph over the AHSTW Vikings.

The Panthers (3-9) will now prepare for their battle against Woodbury Central (Moville, IA). The Wildcats come into the Western Valley - North match with a 2-9 record. In their last match, Woodbury Central was edged by Akron-Westfield (Akron, IA), 2-0, in a non-league match.

With the loss, AHSTW drops to 6-14 on the campaign. The Vikings host Missouri Valley (Missouri Valley, IA) to battle the Big Reds in a Western Iowa match on Tuesday, September 19. The Big Reds come into the match with a record of 7-9. Missouri Valley lost 3-1 in their recent league match against Audubon (Audubon, IA)
