With the win, Humboldt upgrades its record to 12-5 on the year. The Cubs travel to Marmaton Valley (Moran, KS) to play the Wildcats in a non-league bout on Saturday, September 16. The Wildcats go into the bout with a record of 0-7. Marmaton Valley lost 2-1 in their recent non-league bout against Uniontown (Uniontown, KS)

The Jets now own a 0-6 record. They play next when they travel to Oswego for a non-league bout on Tuesday, September 19. Altoona-Midway will play a Indians squad coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Caney Valley (Caney, KS). The Indians record now stands at 6-12.
