The Bayside Marlins volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Norfolk Collegiate Mighty Oaks to 0 in the Marlins non-league victory on Saturday.

The Marlins now have a 3-5 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Green Run for a Beach game on Tuesday, September 19. Bayside will confront a Stallions team coming off a 2-1 non-league loss to King's Fork (Suffolk, VA). The Stallions record now stands at 1-9.

The Mighty Oaks (4-5) will now prepare for their game against TEACH (Virginia Beach, VA). The enter the non-league game with a 6-4 record. In their last game, TEACH dropped by Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA), 3-0, in a non-league game.
