The North Scott Lancers topped the visiting Burlington Grayhounds volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.
The Lancers now have a 10-2 record. They put it on the line next when they host Central DeWitt for a non-league test on Tuesday, September 19. North Scott will confront a team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Dubuque Senior (Dubuque, IA). The record now stands at 7-10.
The Grayhounds (12-11) will now prepare for their test against Xavier (Cedar Rapids, IA). The Saints enter the non-league test with a 9-3 record. In their last test, Xavier was knocked off by Solon (Solon, IA), 3-2, in a non-league test.
