The Jesup J-Hawks volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Cascade Cougars to 1 in the J-Hawks non-league victory on Saturday.
The J-Hawks now possess a 9-10 record. They put it on the line next when they host Union for a North Iowa Cedar - East game on Tuesday, September 19. Jesup will meet a Knights team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Mason City (Mason City, IA). The Knights record now stands at 16-4.
The Cougars (8-9) will now prepare for their game against Camanche (Camanche, IA). The Indians enter the River Valley North game with a 4-12 record. In their last game, Camanche was nudged by Fulton (Fulton, IL), 2-0, in a non-league game.
