In Saturday's non-league battle, the visiting Cathedral Academy Generals volleyball team scored a 2-0 triumph over the King's Academy Lions.
The Generals (11-4) will now prepare for their battle against Wilson Hall (Sumter, SC). The Barons come into the non-league battle with a 19-4 record. In their last battle, Wilson Hall achieved victory over Ashley Hall (Charleston, SC), 2-0, in a non-league battle.
Next, the Lions clash with the Cambridge Academy Cougars (Greenwood, SC) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, September 16. King's Academy will attempt to advance on its 0-8 season record. The Cougars come into the battle with a 10-1 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Gray Collegiate Academy (West Columbia, SC).
