Virginia High School Volleyball - Jefferson tips Catholic

September 16, 2023: Virginia Beach, VA 23462

Jefferson Cougars (Shenandoah Junction, WV) supporters left the game in high spirits Saturday as they observed their volleyball squad hold off the host Catholic Crusaders (Virginia Beach, VA), 2-1 in a non-league match.

Next up, the Cougars clash with the St. John's Cadets (Washington, DC) in a non-league match, on Saturday, September 16. Jefferson will attempt to advance on its 7-9 season record. The Cadets come into the match with a 5-0 record after their 3-0 non-league win over Heritage (Newport News, VA).

With the loss, Catholic drops to 0-7 on the campaign. The Crusaders travel to Jefferson Forest (Forest, VA) to clash with the Cavaliers in a non-league match on Saturday, September 16. The Cavaliers come into the match with a record of 7-1. Jefferson Forest won 3-2 in their recent league match against Glass (Lynchburg, VA)
