In Saturday's non-league contest, the Centennial Eagles (Gresham, OR) volleyball squad edged the host Lincoln Cardinals (Portland, OR), by a margin of 2-1.

Next up, the Eagles battle the Hillsboro Spartans (Hillsboro, OR) in a 5A Northwest Oregon contest, on Tuesday, September 19. Centennial will attempt to better on its 8-2 season record. The Spartans come into the contest with a 2-12 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to St. Mary's Academy (Portland, OR).

With the loss, Lincoln drops to 3-9 on the campaign. The Cardinals host Cleveland (Portland, OR) to battle the Warriors in a 6A Portland Interscholastic contest on Monday, September 18. The Warriors come into the contest with a record of 3-6. Cleveland won 3-0 in their recent league contest against Franklin (Portland, OR)
