The West Chargers topped the visiting Central Plains Oilers volleyball team by a score of 2-0 in Saturday's non-league test.

The Chargers now have a 7-2 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hoisington for a non-league test on Saturday, September 16. West will confront a Cardinals team coming off a 2-0 non-league win over Larned (Larned, KS). The Cardinals record now stands at 9-3.

The Oilers (4-8) will now prepare for their game against Stockton (Stockton, KS). The Tigers enter the non-league game with a 5-6 record. In their last game, Stockton dropped by Hoxie (Hoxie, KS), 2-0, in a non-league game.
