The Coffee County Central Red Raiders volleyball team scored 2 points and limited the visiting Whitwell Tigers to 1 in the Red Raiders non-league victory on Saturday.
The Red Raiders now possess a 6-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Warren County for a non-league game on Monday, September 18. Coffee County Central will meet a Pioneers & Lady Pioneers team coming off a 2-0 non-league loss to Lawrence County (Lawrenceburg, TN). The Pioneers & Lady Pioneers record now stands at 6-17.
The Tigers (11-7) will now prepare for their game against Cumberland County (Crossville, TN). The Jets enter the non-league game with a 2-11 record. In their last game, Cumberland County was nudged by Watertown (Watertown, TN), 3-2, in a league game.
